Rivers NSCDC gets new PRO

A new Public Relations Officer (PRO), has been posted to the Rivers State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The new PRO, Olufemi Ayodeji Ayodele, a Deputy Superintendent of the Corps (DSC) was posted from the Office of the Director of Public Relations (DPR), Abuja to take over from Akin Michael Oguntuase, an Assistant Commandant of the Corps (ACC), who has been redeployed to the National Headquarters (NHQ) of the NSCDC Abuja.

Outgoing PRO, ACC Akin Michael Oguntuase, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

On his part, the new PRO of the Rivers State Command of the NSCDC has appealed for sustained synergy with the Corps and the media in the state.

DSC Ayodele who hailed the virtues of his predecessors said he is delighted for the opportunity to serve in the state.

“It gives me great pleasure being amidst you noble professionals.

“My outgoing boss, Assistant Commandant Michael Oguntuase has been a very diligent, highly resourceful and dedicated PRO, may God bless him richly as he steps up to undertake higher responsibilities.

“Please extend much more synergy you had with him to me so that together we can make media aglow the more”, he said.
