Group set to hold anti-cultism awareness campaign

A group known as the Zero Cult Club is set to carry-out an awareness campaign against  cultism in Akwa Ibom State.

 The group  founded by Activist Idy Uworoufin (a.k.a the Streets Apostle) is spread  across states of the federation such as  Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta, Rivers and Benue States.

Coordinator of the Zero Cult Club in Cross River State, Evang. Grace Eyo, while briefing  Port Harcourt Spectator Newspaper announced that the event which would commence on Sunday 25th September, 2022,  tagged: ‘Street Hangout’, will hold at Tigers Bar Ikot -Ekpene Road, Uyo before proceeding to the Akwa Ibom Show Room and will have dignitaries, and the youths being the targeted audience in attendance.

She said the club which was founded in 2017 has the soul aim of creating awareness against the menace of cultism and other social vices in the society especially among youths in  schools, from primary to tertiary institutions.

The group called on members of the society to support them in their quest to drag youths out of cultism and restore sanity in the society.
