I won Rivers election – LP candidate, Itubo insists

Almost two weeks after the gubernatorial elections, governorship candidate of Labour Party (LP) for the just concluded election in Rivers State, Mrs Beatrice Itubo, has insisted that she won the election.

Itubo made the statement on Friday on her verified Facebook handle while thanking her supporters for the love shown to her during the election period.

She also stated that she will challenge the process and claim her mandate.

The statement reads in part:

“Nothing can keep so long to appreciate your support in the March 18th. Governorship and House of Assembly election in Rivers State.”

“You stood your ground amidst the intimidation, violence and rift.’

We have resolved to challenge the Process and we shall reclaim our mandate.

‘We won the Election.” she added
