IAUOE promotes 16 as professors, 10, associates

Management of the  Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rivers State  has  promoted sixteen academic staff to the rank of Professors and ten others to the rank of Associate Professors(Readers) with monetary benefits.

Vice Chancellor of the school, Professor Okey Onuchuku, made the announcement in an emergency Senate meeting on Friday.

Onuchuku who expressed appreciation to the State Governor and Visitor to the University Amaopusenibo Siminalayi Fubara for the approval appealed to those concerned to provide pure and adequate academic leadership in their areas of discipline and assume leadership positions if there are no professors in such areas.
