By: Kpazoo Morrison

‎The campaign train for Khana Constituency II House of Assembly bye-election has visited Wards 7, 3 and 19, taking the Renewed Hope message directly to the grassroots.

‎The visit marked another strategic push by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to consolidate its support base ahead of the 21st February, 2026 bye-election.

‎At each stop, party leaders and campaign officials preached the Renewed Hope Agenda while formally presenting the party’s candidate, Bulabari Henrietta Loolo, to the people. Speakers called on residents to turn out en masse and cast their votes for the APC candidate, stressing her capacity to deliver effective representation and people-oriented leadership. The message resonated strongly, as large crowds welcomed the campaign train with enthusiasm.

‎Meanwhile, mobilisation across the three wards was described as top-notch, with party faithful, youths, women and  stakeholders openly demonstrating their readiness for the polls. The impressive turnout in Wards 7, 3 and 19 further signalled growing grassroots confidence in the APC and its candidate as the election date draws near, party leaders said.

‎Leading the campaign train were several prominent party figures, including the Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Dr. Thomas Bariere, the Member representing Khana and Gokana in the House of Representatives, Dum Dekor; and the APC Chairman of Khana LGA, Barile Ebenezer.

‎Others were the Campaign Director-General, Comr. Menele Ziadam Nzidee; the Secretary Campaign Council,  Hyacinth Nwiiyee; the Rivers South-East Senatorial APC Women Leader,  Chief Rita Jumbo; the Vice Chairman of Khana LGA, Mrs. Nugbenekpugi  Ibrahim; the Leader of Khana 10th Legislative Assembly,  Barr.
