The Management of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital and indeed the Authorities of the College of Nursing Sciences have observed with concern the nefarious activities of scammers using online platforms to defraud unsuspecting members of the public on a purported sale of the College of Nursing Sciences Application forms.
The Management of the Hospital in a public notice issued in Port Harcourt said for the purposes of clarity and the records, the College of Sciences, University of Port Harcourt Teaching hospital is not selling any Application forms and the so called online notices are not Representatives of the College nor the University of Port Harcourt Teaching hospital, but scammers taking advantage of innocent members of the public.
The statement went further to say that, “the general public is therefore alerted to be wary and cautious about such online notices and avoid engaging or dealing with such unauthorized characters but rather visit the College of Nursing Sciences office within the University of Port Harcourt Teaching hospital for accurate and authentic information.
“Management however warns those faceless individuals and groups impersonating the University of Port Harcourt Teaching hospital College of Nursing Sciences to henceforth desist from their nefarious activities as the long arms of the law will soon catch up with them, and once investigations are over, anyone implicated will face prosecution in accordance with the provisions of the law, ” it added.
