Some men of the Nigeria Police Force, Monday, morning took to the streets of Ondo town, Ondo State, protesting non-payment of their last Saturday governorship election allowance.
The policemen we gathered trooped out to Fagun street in Ondo town chanting various war songs to kick against the way they were treated after the governorship election.
The development caused traffic logjam in the area.
Efforts to speak with the protesters were not successful as they allegedly beat-up journalists who were trying to speak with them and residents who wanted to take photographs of the protest.
The Ondo State Police Command was yet to react to the development at the time of this report.
