Buhari presides over FEC meeting five days after return

Five days after returning to the country from his medical sojourn abroad, President Muhammadu Buhari, Wednesday, presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The president who came into the Council chambers at about 10.03am dressed in white agbada and cap to match and dark sun glasses, coordinated the recitation of the national anthem and the prayer session.

Former Rivers State governor, Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Ameachi, Minister of Transportation led the Christian prayer while Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information led the Muslim prayer.

The meeting thereafter commenced behind closed doors with Buhari presiding.
