My recall threat an exercise in futility-Wihioka

The member representing Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon.  Chidi Wihioka has described the purported recall process against him as an exercise in futility.

Wihioka is staunch supporter of the senator representing Rivers South East, Magnus Abe’s bid to govern Rivers  State on the platform of the All Progressives Party, APC.

Wihioka in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity, Robinson Hamilton.

He described the threat as laughable and a task for the hungry and jobless.

The federal lawmaker also described the purported signatories as charlatans who engaged in the act for financial benefits from whosoever.

The lawmaker who is fondly called “Elder” also warned the sponsors of the act to desist forthwith or face his wrath.

Wihioka further advised his constituents and the general public to disregard what he termed concocted lies emanating from mischief makers in the area.

He promised to continue in his bid to providing quality representing to his constituents.

Meanwhile, we gathered that the moved which is said to be sponsored by the Transportation Minister, Chibuike Amaechi over alleged disloyalty to him is tearing the party apart in the area as members of the party in Ikwerre local Government area where Amaechi hails from are said to be fine tuning plans to suspend him from the party if he continues with his plot to recall the lawmaker.
