Obuah lauds Wike over Sustainability Fiscal Index Report

Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bro. Felix Obuah has attributed the Fiscal Sustainability Index placing the State Government ahead of other States as a further proof of the people-oriented thrust of the PDP-led government, giving the credit to Governor Nyesom Wike for his insight and clarity of purpose.

Bro Obuah in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, said there could not be a better assessment than that carried out by an external body, Budgit Nigeria, at their own prompting and which cut across all State economies in the country.

Describing the high profiled Assessment Report as a result of prudent management of resources by the Wike administration and a clear shift from what obtained in the past, the State PDP boss said anybody that is not privy to the lean resources of the state vis-à-vis its enormous responsibilities in terms of capital and recurrent expenditures may not understand why  Wike is rated as the first among equals as has been shown by the report

Obuah while lauding the governor for the uncommon feat, said the Rivers people should be happier for it as this will spur the governor to do more in terms of both human capital and infrastructural development.

He said the only way to appreciate  Wike for his efforts and sacrifices is to remain supportive to his administration and ensure that there is peace in all communities to allow for more developments, assuring that at the end of it all, Rivers State is the ultimate beneficiary.
