JUST IN : Nigeria’s environment minister, resigns

Nigeria’s  Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Usman Jibril has resigned from the position.

Jibril tendered his resignation on Wednesday at the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

His resignation is coming barely a few days after his emergence as Emir of Nasarawa.

Jibrin became Minister of State for Environment in December 2015 when the council was constituted after being screened and confirmed by the National Assembly.
