Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will be beneficiaries of the new national minimum wage which was formally approved by the federal executive council Wednesday.
This was made known by the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, in a tweet on Wednesday.
He said youth corpers will receive the N30, 000 new pay which is effective April 20, 2019. Payments will begin any time from now.
“New Minimum Wage: NYSC members to enjoy new minimum wage/allowee,” the Minister’s tweeted.
