Wike approves recruitment of 5000 youths to fill vacant civil service positions

Rivers State Government may have finally yielded to the demands of youths in the state for job creation, as the State Executive Council, SEC, has given approval for the employment of 5000 Rivers youths to fill vacant positions in the state civil service.

Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Media, Marshal Obuzor who made the disclosure on his verified twitter handle said the decision was taken on Wednesday during council meeting.

He stated that only youths within the ages of 35 are eligible for the jobs.
