Prominent Ahoada PDP chieftain defects to APC

…Identifies with Abe

Chief Wilfred Olumini, a former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and prominent traditional ruler in   Ahoada West local government area of Rivers State has  formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He defected alongside his Council of Chiefs, Elders and supporters and was received into the Senator Magnus Abe camp of the party by the President-General of Rivers Voice of Freedom, RVF,  Comrade Dominic Dumekpigi.

RVF is a grassroots mobilizing group for Senate Magnus Abe.

Olumini pledge his total support and commitment to Senator Magnus Ngei Abe Governorship race and the APC.

“Senator Abe is a man of the people. He is a talk and do politician. He’s  straight forward and a man of integrity. Abe is a pan Rivers man and I like his style of politics,” he said.

Receiving the defectors, Dominic Dumekpigi assured them of equal opportunities in the party.

“Senator Magnus Abe plays politics of inclusiveness. I want to assure you that you will never be neglected in this camp and in this struggle. Abe is very glad to work with you since you have identified with him, he will definitely partner with you and the people of Ahoada- West will receive whatever benefits that comes out of the partnership.

“Magnus is a talk and do politician. Whatever he can’t do he won’t tell you so I want to assure you and the entire Council of Chiefs that has gathered here that the dividends that’s coming is not only for you but the entire  Ahoada West,” he stated.

He assured further that Abe when he becomes governor would create wealth for the people and employment opportunity in the state.

“Senator Magnus Abe will create employment opportunities. He will create a channel where people will have access to wealth, support him to transform Rivers State,” Dumekpigi said.

On his part, a House of Assembly aspirants on the platform of the party, Dr Magnus Onukwube joined in urging the people to give their support to Abe as he has the answer to the plethora of problems facing the state.
