Reports say some members of the Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Vanguard who were returning from Abuja, venue of the just concluded All Progressives Congress Presidential Primaries were involved in a ghastly motor accident this morning with one person reportedly dead.
According to a social media post by a staunch supporter of Amaechi in Rivers State, Mr. Goodnews Amadi, the incident occurred around the Abaji axis of the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
Other sources said the Rivers Joy sienna bus that was conveying the victims somersaulted leading to the crash.
Port Harcourt Spectator reports that viral pictures show men of the Federal Road Safety Corps conveying some of the injured persons into their ambulance.
