Olisa Metuh hospitalized

Embattled spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, is currently receiving medical attention at the National Hospital, Abuja and sequel to a dip in his health earlier today, Thursday.

Pointblanknews.com gathered that Metuh, took ill while in his car within the premises of the Federal High Court, Thursday morning.

It was gathered that shortly after they arrived the court premises, Metuh complained of not feeling too good, and then vomited.

Recall that in April, he had slumped during the commissioning of the caretaker committee of the PDP Yobe and Borno states chapter.

He was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital.

But, according to sources close to him, he went into court, where the Judge, after counsel briefed him on what happened, ruled that he be taken to hospital for medical attention.

The spokesman of the PDP, who is expected to return to court on Monday, is being tried for his role in the disbursement of the 2015 campaign funds, and alleged destruction of evidence.

One of his close aides told Pointblanknews.com via telephone” “It is true he is in the National Hospital right now. He took ill while we were in the car park of the court, but he was able to enter the court and face the judge, who ruled, adjourned, and directed he be taken to hospital. He is expected to return to court o Monday.”
