Federal Lawmaker and governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State , Doctor Farah Dagogo is expected to stay in the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre till Friday to know whether his bail application would be granted.
This followed his official arraignment before a High Court in Port Harcourt on Monday.
Justice Chiwendu Nwogu shortly after listening to arguments of the defense and prosecution teams, remanded Dagogo again to the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre.
He adjourned the matter to May 20, 2022, to rule on the motion and counter motion by the legal teams involved.
Dagogo is standing trial for alleged cultism and hiring people to disrupt the PDP parliamentary screening in Port Harcourt, an allegation he promptly denied before his arrest.
