CAF Champions League: Remo Stars suffers defeat against Medeama SC

Remo Stars of Nigeria lost 1-0  against Ghanaian champions Medeama SC in their CAF Champions League preliminary round first-leg tie at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Jonathan Sowah scored the only  goal of the match from outside the box in the 21st minute.

The hosts piled more pressure on the Remo Stars’ defence but were unable to double their lead.

Remo Stars struggled to create scoring chances in the game.

Daniel Ogunmodede’s side will need to score two  goals without conceding in the reverse fixture to scale through to the next round.
