A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Port Harcourt City local government area of Rivers State, Hon. Brave Wobo has singled out Senator Magnus Ngei Abe as the best and most qualified candidate to succeed Nyesom Wike as the next governor of Rivers State.

Wobo, who disclosed that he is also aspiring for the Federal House of Representatives position for Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 1 under the platform of the APC, stated this while addressing journalists in Port Harcourt.

He said  Abe is the only one, out of many governorship aspirants from different political parties, especially in the APC, that has the interest of Rivers State and it’s citizens at heart.

While  expressing optimism that the APC will take over the Government House in Rivers State come 2023, he said “only Senator Abe can deliver the governorship for the APC in 2023”.

He emphasized that for the APC to reclaim power from the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State after Wike’s regime,  only Magnus Abe can get the job done.

“The only aspirant who Rivers people and APC should give their vote to take over the Brick House from Wike as their next governor is Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe, others are jokers.

“The only person who has the interest of Rivers people at heart. The only man who does not believe that Rivers man should be thrown away or believe that Rivers money should be eaten or squandered anyhow, is only Magnus Abe,” he declared.

He said, “Magnus Abe is the only aspirant who is not coming to represent one god-father of the order. Rivers people, don’t follow anybody who will tell you to go and carry gun, and carry ballot boxes. Follow Magnus Abe”.

Wobo also used the medium to promise effective and efficient representation by bringing the dividends of democracy to his constituents if elected to represent the people of Port Harcourt Constituency 1 at the House of Representatives.

“I am also an aspirant to serve the good people of Port Harcourt Constituency 1 at the National Assembly.

My intention is to give effective and efficient representation and bring the dividends of democracy to my people.

“When I see the people at the grassroot, and I know that persons have represented us and they are not bringing dividends of democracy to the people I feel bad. I want to go and bring it so that our people would ask past representatives, so these things are there and nobody saw them how come Brave saw these things.

“I don’t believe in building gigantic buildings and others, I believe that development should be all about the people, change their lives, change the narratives, that’s what I want to go and do at the National Assembly,” he stated.

He however solicited for the people and party’s support as he assured them of all inclusive and effective representation.

“When you come to my house, from the outside you are seeing everybody, you walk in and walk out. So I urge my people from Port Harcourt  Constituency 1 to come out and support Brave Wobo. I will continue to be accessible and open to all.

“The era of peace and the people’s government will come through my representation. I have done it before, as a councillor and the people have good stories about me,” he said.
