Again, Enugu Police declare Valentine wanted with a bounty

A notorious armed robbery suspect in Enugu State, Valentine Eneh has been declared wanted for the third time by Enugu State Police Command.

The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, CP Abubakar Adamu Mohammed while briefing newsmen at the State Police Headquarters on Friday said Valentine was declared wanted in connection with the robbery incident that took place at the last bus stop axis of New Heaven in the state metropolis.

The dreaded armed robbery kingpin, we learnt was first declared wanted on 28th July, 2016, following his alleged involvement in an operation same month that left two police officers dead.

CP Mohammed noted that the hoodlums opened fire on the officers who were at their duty post along the last bust stop axis of New Heaven, conducting stop and search.

The second declaration according to him was made after some of his gang members including, one Uchenna Ngene aka “youngboy” was killed.

“Since the July 2016 the command declared wanted this notorious robber, he has been on the run”.

The police chief also mandated the traditional ruler of Akwuke Community, HRH, Igwe Benard Nwonye to produce the fleeing Valentine Eneh to the police as the head of his Community.

The CP however, tasked all police formations, tactical units and divisions in the state to redouble their efforts in ensuring that Valentine Eneh and other fleeing criminals in the state are apprehended.

It was also gathered that a Five Hundred Thousand naira bounty was  placed the fleeing kingpin.
